Manny told me if anything happened to send an e-mail to everyone in his
address book. His address book has over 3000 entries. I chose not to do
that.

Manny left us on Fathers day. We had a Surfers memorial for him at Waimea
Bay today. His ashes were carried out to sea on a surfboard along with
about 50 other surfers carrying leis and bottles of Budweiser beer and a
couple bottles of Wild Turkey.

I took some pictures of the ceremony with Manny's camera. If I can figure
out how to download the pictures from the camera, I will post them in the
binary group. It is a Sony Cybershot and the connections are hanging off
the shelf by this computer along with about twenty other connections and it
may take a day or two.

I am Manny's next door neighbor and he told me about the Just For Fun Club
and showed me the JFFC desk plaque and the Viagra Clock he got for
Christmas. Manny never used Viagra. He was a horney old fart and serviced
most of the decent looking women in this building.

Manny was a strange but funny person. This is a Senior Citizens Living
facility. We are blessed by many groups on the island who give out food
parcels once a month. Manny made a commitment to this and went to all of
them and got the boxes of food from all of them every month. He left all
the food on the bench in front of the elevator so the people who were not
able to go and get the food could just pick up whatever they wanted. We
called it Manny's Food Bank.

Forgive me for rambling. If there are any replies to this post, I will print
them out and take them to Manny's son. Manny's son is currently in a long
term Re-hab facility due to his over indulgence in fun drugs such as Ice,
Pot, Alcohol, Heroin and a few other things. I know Bob and he is a
wonderful talented person the few times I saw him clean and sober.

Manny kept a journal and instructed me to mail it when he passed away. He
told me it would be published. I don't know whether to believe this or not
but he told me when the first copy came out to mail it to Larry Fox. I
found his address on the computer.

He also told me to tell you foks that Ace High is a figment of his
imagination. Manny published a small book called "The Case Files of Ace
High, Attorney at Law" in 1956 when he was a Journalism, Pre-Law student at
the University of Texas in Austin. The copy I have is a laugh a minute
read. I believe he has posted some of them in your newsgroup.

He said he set a record at the University of Texas. He had over 200 credit
hours and never got a degree. He went to UT from 1954 through 1960 when he
was drafted into the Army. I don't know that whole story but he was a
corresponent of some sort.

A lot of people have died in this building. I remember the names of very
few of them. Some years they drop like flies. I will never forget Manny.

Manny did not die in this building. He died in Chinatown Honolulu. He
was negotiating with a City of Honolulu offical for a building they had
confiscated, hoping to actually open the "Chinatown Pain Relief Clinic". He
was hoping the negotiations would be easier on the man's day off and a few
beers at the many lap dancing clubs in Chinatown. The offical cause of death
was asphixiation due to choking on a spring roll. God only knows what was
in it.

Please do not reply to this by e-mail. I will check back on this newsgroup
Thursday, June 19 and try to answer any questions. Manny's e-mail is so
full of spam it is impossible to read.
