The History of the Just For Fun Club is full of Life, Laughter, Scandals, and Treachery. I feel that History should not be flowered over but documented honestly. So with that mindset I have tried to display the whole ball of wax.
Sometimes a question about why there are 2 JFFC's is posted in the newsgroup alt.clubs.just-for-fun. Scattered throughout the following pages those that are interested will find some of the answers to that question... there is no one answer. --DAB

What is The JFFC
The JFFC is more of an idea than a thing. It is a group of people who have banded
together for the common purpose of having fun on the internet. Our primary activities
consist of creating interesting posts on Blogs and Public News Groups. We like to send
HTML formatted posts and include sound and graphics in everyday conversation.
The group was originally formed as a response to the trials that our visionary founders
experienced on MSN Newsgroups at the hands of forum mangers who desired
to control every word of every post. The JFFC is and always will be the Just For Fun Club
and nothing else. Read the other JFFC Blogs and Forums. Then check out our newsgroups
and join the fun.
The Usenet newsgroup alt.clubs.just-for-fun was created just for fun on 18 Feb 1998
for the sole purpose of providing a place to have fun on the internet and finding the
answer to the question:
